Radiologic Technologists perform diagnostic imaging to assist in injury and disease treatment, working weekends (Fri-Sun, 7a-7p).
Required qualifications include completion of a Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registration, NM State Certification, BLS certification, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
Responsibilities involve performing radiologic procedures independently, understanding PACS, RIS, and EMR systems, maintaining equipment, transporting patients, ensuring confidentiality, and practicing professional communication.
Candidates must follow safety standards, adhere to organizational values, and participate in ongoing education.
Physical demands include exposure to radiation, body fluids, prolonged standing, and patient handling, including interacting with potentially abusive patients.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support quality care.
