Job Description

This Cardiopulmonary Cardiac Sonographer role involves creating a safe, patient-centered experience during cardiopulmonary procedures.
They perform diagnostic echocardiography, stress tests, and EKG/Holter monitoring with accuracy, knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, ultrasound physics, and artifact differentiation.
The position requires certification (ARDMS or CCI), BLS, and ACLS (within 6 months).
Responsibilities include documentation, quality improvement, patient education, infection control, and promoting respectful staff and client relationships.
Physical demands include exposure to hazardous materials, extensive standing, lifting, and patient transfers, with correctible visual and auditory acuity needed for safety.
