Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.
They perform ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas sampling, and patient education, often working independently in complex cases.
The role includes collaborating with healthcare teams, mentoring staff and students, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements include an associate’s degree in respiratory therapy, relevant certifications (RT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP), 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care, and strong communication and critical thinking skills.
The position involves promoting safe, evidence-based care and adhering to organizational policies to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
