Job Description

The Cardiopulmonary Cardiac Sonographer creates a safe, patient-centered environment during cardiopulmonary procedures, ensuring accurate diagnostics to support patient health.

  • Requires ARDMS or CCI Echocardiography registration, BLS, and ACLS certifications (ACLS within 6 months).
  • Performs echocardiography, stress testing, and EKG/Holter monitoring, demonstrating thorough knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics.
  • Responsible for documentation, quality improvement, patient education, infection control, and fostering professional staff and patient relationships.
  • Maintains safety standards, adapts for cultural diversity, and interacts professionally with team members.
  • Physical demands include extensive movement, patient handling, and awareness of potential exposure to hazards. All duties align with organizational values of trust, reverence, accountability, and innovation.
