Radiologic Technologists perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support injury and disease treatment.

Qualifications include completing a formal Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registration, NM State Certification, and maintaining BLS certification.
Responsibilities involve performing radiologic exams independently, understanding imaging and reporting systems, providing coverage in various departments, maintaining equipment, transporting patients, ensuring confidentiality, and practicing professional communication.
Physical demands include lifting at least 50 pounds, exposure to radiation and body fluids, prolonged standing, and assisting patients with care and compassion.
Adherence to safety, courtesy, effectiveness, and stewardship standards is essential, along with ongoing education and professional development.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
