Job Description

The Cardiopulmonary Cardiac Sonographer creates a safe, patient-centered experience while performing cardiopulmonary procedures, including echocardiography, stress testing, and EKG/Holter monitoring.
They ensure accurate, reproducible diagnostic data, demonstrate thorough knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics, and troubleshoot artifacts.
Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, quality improvement, infection control, and promoting a respectful, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications include ARDMS or CCI registry, BLS, and ACLS certification (within 6 months).
They must meet physical demands such as standing, lifting, and ensuring safety amidst potential exposure hazards.
