Job Description
Responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering Speech/Language Pathology treatments as prescribed by physicians to restore and improve patient function.
Participates in performance improvement, documentation, and departmental activities to ensure quality care.
Develops individualized treatment plans, conducts assessments (including swallowing exams), and collaborates with patients and families to meet their needs.
Maintains accurate records, communicates effectively with healthcare team, and adheres to safety and infection control protocols.
Provides education and supports patients across all age groups, ensuring respectful and culturally sensitive care.
Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree, are licensed in Kentucky, and preferably have experience with geriatric populations.
Requires good interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and physical and mental stamina for clinical duties.
Full-time position with benefits, scheduled Monday-Friday, with weekends as needed, based in Ironton, OH. Relocation is required before starting.
