Job Description
The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams. Requires a Master’s/Doctoral degree in Nursing, current NP licensure, and wound care certification within 6 months. Minimum 2 years of NP, PA, MD, or DO experience; active patient contact preferred. Field-based role involving travel, physical activity, and exposure to biohazards. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Key duties include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
