Job Description

The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

  • Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
  • Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams.
  • Requires a Master’s/Doctoral degree in Nursing, current NP licensure, and wound care certification within 6 months.
  • Minimum 2 years of NP, PA, MD, or DO experience; active patient contact preferred.
  • Field-based role involving travel, physical activity, and exposure to biohazards.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Key duties include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
