Job Description

This full-time Recreational Therapist position involves providing comprehensive recreational therapy services in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and document therapy programs.
  • Support patients’ physical health and safety through therapeutic activities.
  • Maintain medical records and communicate professionally with staff and patients.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and supervise students and volunteers.
  • Work in a clean, well-lit environment Monday through Friday.

    • Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy, State certification, and CTRS credential. Must complete Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 30 days and pass background checks.
