Job Description
Provides specialized direct patient care in Electrophysiology, including obtaining patient histories, assessing needs, and performing diagnostic tests or treatments with thorough documentation.
Screens patients for suitability for cardiac testing and supervises exercise and pharmacological stress tests. Utilizes evidence-based, cost-effective procedures in cardiology care. Performs related procedures, manages follow-up care, and assists physicians with hospital rounds and on-call duties. Qualifications include being a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed in Rhode Island, with preferred 3 years of experience (considering new grads), and current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
