Charge Nurse/RN Supervisor

Job Description

This leadership role reports directly to the Nursing Director and involves hands-on nursing supervision as a full-time Evening Charge Nurse (2pm-10pm).

It includes planning, developing, and overseeing person-centered care programs for residents, assisting in team training, and managing staff recruitment and termination under the Nursing Director’s guidance.

Responsibilities encompass coordinating resident care, maintaining legal documentation, managing medication administration, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

The role requires collaborating with residents, families, and healthcare providers, handling urgent issues on-site, and participating in safety and budget management.

Qualifications include an active RN license, CPR certification, experience in long-term care and dementia care, management experience with at least six staff members, and flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts.
