Job Description

This full-time position supports hematology and oncology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, providing acute care under physician oversight.

  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex patient needs, including same-day acute care and care coordination.
  • Supports value-based care initiatives to improve outcomes and reduce costs.
  • Provides inpatient coverage, telephone support, and patient education on treatment and side effects.
  • Participates in clinical meetings, quality improvement, and emergency response activities.
  • Maintains accurate documentation, adheres to ethical standards, and communicates effectively with providers and patients.

  • **Qualifications:**
  • At least 2 years of hematology/oncology experience preferred.
  • Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Washington, DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority required.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills; reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations.
