Job Description
The Lead Physician in Rural Primary Care Services oversees high-quality healthcare delivery at rural sites, ensuring clinical guidelines, risk management, and provider supervision are maintained.
Provides diagnosis and treatment within licensure scope, supporting nurse practitioners and PAs. Supervises clinical staff, conducts evaluations, and collaborates on quality improvement initiatives. Leads onboarding, training, and rural health teaching programs for providers and residents. Ensures credentialing, manages clinical risk, and participates in operational and quality meetings. Qualifications include board certification, California medical license, DEA, and experience in primary care and management. Bilingual skills preferred.
