Job Description

The Therapist conducts comprehensive mental health assessments and facilitates appropriate treatment planning for individuals experiencing mental illness, behavioral issues, or substance abuse challenges.

They assist with emergency and voluntary admissions, coordinate care with medical staff and community resources, and provide individual and group therapy tailored to diverse populations.

Key responsibilities include completing psychosocial evaluations, participating in treatment and discharge planning, documenting interactions, and ensuring patient safety.

They collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, promote a safe environment, and uphold safety, teamwork, integrity, compassion, and professionalism standards.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree, an active state license (e.g., LPC, LSW, LISW, LPCC), CPR and de-escalation certification, and at least two years of supervised clinical experience.
