Family Therapist

Job Description

This full-time therapist provides evidence-based, holistic treatment to residential youth and their families, focusing on Family Systems Theory.

They develop individualized treatment and case plans, coordinate with referral sources and community agencies, and ensure smooth transitions post-discharge.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, participating in team meetings, crisis intervention, and providing therapy through individual, family, and group sessions.

They support family engagement, supervise interns, and may lead trainings.

The role requires a licensed master’s degree, relevant experience, and proficiency in therapy models, along with physical ability for active participation.

They collaborate across teams to promote youth well-being, uphold agency policies, and represent the organization professionally in court and community settings.
