Clinical Nurse Practitioner – GI Practice

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join a growing GI practice in Macon, GA, specializing in adult Gastroenterology and endoscopy.

Essential Functions:

• Provide high-quality clinical care in office/hospital settings, including patient assessments, examinations, procedures, and care planning.
• Accurately review medical records, administer medications, coordinate referrals, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and establish diagnoses.
• Develop and evaluate treatment plans collaboratively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families on medications and health management.
• Perform patient interviews, history-taking, and physical exams, and advise on health and prevention.
• Ensure departmental compliance with regulations and complete required competencies.
• Take initiative, adapt to change, and assume responsibility for job duties.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active APRN license and BLS certification in Georgia.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or in a team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate flexibility.
