Job Description

The Behavioral Health Division is seeking an experienced Outpatient Psychiatrist to provide at least 16 hours per week of psychiatric services to individuals with severe mental health challenges.

  • The ideal candidate is compassionate, collaborative, with a minimum of three years of outpatient psychiatric experience.
  • Responsibilities include conducting medical assessments and supervising therapeutic medication plans within a supportive, interdisciplinary team.
  • Comprehensive administrative support is provided, including nursing, dictation, and clinical consultation.
  • This role is independently contracted, paid hourly, requiring an active Oregon Medical License, DEA, DMAP, and professional liability insurance.
  • Fringe benefits are not offered; the position is part-time, with 16–32 hours weekly, located in Salem, OR, in person.
