Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Licensing Specialist to ensure compliance with licensing requirements for mental health services.

  • Review and process license applications, verifying documentation accuracy.
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals to meet regulatory standards.
  • Research licensing regulations and updates in behavioral health.
  • Maintain records of licensed professionals and credentials for reporting.
  • Guide staff on licensing procedures and requirements.
  • Assist in crisis situations with resources and referrals.
  • Participate in relevant training and stay updated on ICD-10 coding.


  • Qualifications: Background in mental health or related fields preferred, with experience in patient care or behavioral health. Strong research, communication, and data collection skills are essential. Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy and crisis management is a plus.

    Details: Full-time, $60,000-$70,000/year, based in Clinton, NC. Must be able to commute and relocate before starting. The role involves in-person work with a focus on maintaining high standards of patient care through effective licensing practices.
