Job Description
This full-time RN position requires a current, unencumbered license in the state and registration with the Professional Board of Nurse Examiners.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with at least two years of experience, preferably in long-term care with leadership skills. Knowledge of nursing services, resident care, rehabilitation, therapy, and staff supervision is essential, along with familiarity with facility policies, medications, and medical equipment. Encouraged to hold professional memberships; applicants should be warm, responsive, and able to make decisions with patience and tact. Responsibilities include assessing residents, developing and evaluating care plans, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with policies, and coordinating with other departments. Supervision of medication administration and emergency response is required. Work environment includes various facility areas; physical demands involve visiting other healthcare sites.
