Job Description
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services for children and adults.
Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and issues related to diagnosis and treatment. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, and family therapies. Provide emergency and crisis intervention as needed. Participate in staff conferences, collaborate with therapy teams, and develop tailored therapy programs. Maintain detailed case records and document assessments, plans, and interventions. Educate patients and families on adaptation to diagnoses and treatment. Liaise with community resources and provide consultative support to healthcare team members. Ensure confidentiality and comply with documentation standards. Some travel may be required.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and licensure (LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW) in Iowa. This position is in-person.
