Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join a growing GI practice in Macon, GA, specializing in adult Gastroenterology and endoscopy.
Provide high-quality clinical care in office and hospital settings, including patient assessments, examinations, procedures, and treatment planning.
Review medical records accurately and timely; administer medications, order diagnostic tests, and coordinate referrals.
Assist in developing and evaluating patient treatment programs while educating patients and families on medications and health management.
Conduct patient interviews, perform physical exams, and promote health and illness prevention.
Ensure departmental compliance with regulations and complete required competencies.
Take initiative, adapt to change, and assume responsibility for job duties.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, an active APRN license in Georgia, and BLS certification.
