Job Description
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide mental health services for children and adults.
Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and issues. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, and family therapies. Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed. Participate in staff meetings, collaborate with therapy teams, and develop tailored therapy programs. Maintain detailed case records and document assessments, interactions, and interventions. Educate patients and families on adapting to diagnoses and treatment plans. Liaise with community resources and provide consultative support to healthcare team members. Ensure confidentiality and comply with documentation standards and legal requirements.
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and licensure as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa.
Work is conducted in person.
