Job Description
The Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS) provides confidential addiction counseling, education, and support to individuals, families, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles.
Offers individual, family, and group counseling on addiction causes and effects, including support and referrals for treatment. Conducts comprehensive assessments, assists with treatment planning, and helps clients access resources like funding and employment. Develops and delivers educational programs, maintains accurate records, and ensures compliance with confidentiality and legal standards. Collaborates with other agencies and participates in community outreach, focusing on high-risk populations. Requires valid licenses/certifications, preferably 1 year of SUD experience, and offers full-time employment with benefits. In-person work with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
