Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services for children and adults.
Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families to identify strengths and challenges related to their diagnosis, treatment, or life situation. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, or family therapy. Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed. Participate in team conferences, collaborate with other professionals, and prepare detailed case records. Educate patients and families on adapting to health conditions and connect them with community resources. Maintain confidentiality, documentation, and compliance with legal and organizational standards. Some travel may be required. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field, and licensure as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa.
