Job Description
The Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS) provides confidential addiction counseling, education, and support to individuals, families, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles and choices.
Conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and supports patients in meeting treatment goals. Offers individual, family, and group counseling on addiction causes, effects, and treatment options. Assists with resource navigation, employment, education, and rebuilding relationships. Maintains accurate records, adheres to confidentiality laws, and collaborates with community partners. Provides educational workshops and community outreach, especially targeting high-risk populations. This full-time role requires relevant licensure/certification, with a preference for experience in SUD. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
