OC Speech Therapist

Job Description

Seeking an On Call Speech Therapist to provide assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation for a general rehab caseload in a vibrant retirement community.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, swallowing, and communication disorders based on MD orders.
• Conduct assessments, develop Care Plans, and participate in interdisciplinary team processes.
• Provide caregiver training and ensure accurate documentation of all services.
• Perform screening during admission and regularly to determine therapy needs.
• Supervise licensed therapists, assistants, and students as required.

Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, and preferably two years of clinical experience. Strong communication, time-management, and teamwork skills are essential. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to clinical program development in a supportive community environment.
