Transportation Aide/CNA

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Transportation Aide/CNA to support patient mobility and care within a healthcare facility.

Safely transport patients using equipment like wheelchairs and lifts.

Assist with transfers, ambulation, and patient positioning per care plans.

Support clinical staff with vital signs, basic nursing tasks, and documentation in EHR systems.

Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety during transport.

Provide compassionate care for patients with special needs, including geriatrics and behavioral health.

Follow safety protocols and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

Qualifications include CNA certification or healthcare experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and proficiency with mobility aids and EHR systems. Physical ability to assist with transfers is required.
