Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO/NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, managing complex skin conditions. Conducts assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current licensure, wound care certification within 6 months, and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Must be physically capable of fieldwork, including patient transfers, with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Field-based role involves travel, exposure to biohazards, and adherence to safety protocols. Key responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision, documentation, and team collaboration.
