Job Description

The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO/NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

  • Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, managing complex skin conditions.
  • Conducts assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams.
  • Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current licensure, wound care certification within 6 months, and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be physically capable of fieldwork, including patient transfers, with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Field-based role involves travel, exposure to biohazards, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Key responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision, documentation, and team collaboration.
