Job Description
This full-time role involves practicing medicine under physician supervision, including conducting exams and prescribing medications.
Within the physician–APP relationship, the APP exercises autonomy in medical decision-making and offers a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services across primary care areas such as family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, and surgical specialties.
The position includes responsibilities for patient care, education, research, and administrative duties.
The Hospitalist APP delivers high-quality, patient-centered care collaboratively with hospitalist physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
Key duties include virtual inpatient management, including admissions, ongoing care, coordination, and discharge planning.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, completion of an accredited PA or APRN program, and ideally 1-2 years of inpatient or hospital medicine experience.
Required skills encompass patient assessment, data analysis, care planning, and effective communication.
Licenses in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner are preferred.
