Job Description

The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

They deliver specialized wound care services in home, nursing homes, and assisted living settings, managing complex wounds, pressure injuries, and surgical wounds.

The role involves comprehensive assessments, care plan development, patient and caregiver education, and collaboration with healthcare teams to promote healing.

Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current MD/DO licensure, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and wound care certification within 6 months.

Physical and mental demands include mobility, stamina, independent judgment, and emotional stability. The position requires travel within the region, reliable transportation, and adherence to safety protocols.

Essential duties encompass wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, coordination of care, and compliance with policies.
