Job Description
The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum care.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures.
Perform obstetric services such as prenatal visits, labor management, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections (if credentialed), and postpartum follow-up.
Care for newborns and offer pediatric services as part of family-centered care.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and care initiatives.
Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and maternal health topics.
Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach, call rotations, and after-hours coverage, including hospital labor and delivery call schedule.
Qualifications include MD or DO degree, completion of family medicine residency, additional obstetric training, current medical license, board certification or eligibility, and relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO preferred.
