Job Description
Responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering Speech/Language Pathology treatments as prescribed by physicians to restore and enhance patient function.
Performs patient assessments, develops treatment plans, and documents progress in medical records.
Provides education to patients and families, addressing psychosocial and cultural needs.
Collaborates with healthcare team members, participates in performance improvement, and ensures compliance with standards and safety protocols.
Maintains departmental records, assists with scheduling, and contributes to organizational quality initiatives.
Requires a Master’s degree, Kentucky licensure, and preferably experience with geriatric populations. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
This full-time position involves in-person work in Ironton, OH, with benefits including health coverage and retirement plans. Candidates must be able to commute or relocate before starting.
