Job Description
The RN Supervisor is responsible for ensuring quality psychiatric nursing care and supervising nursing staff during a designated shift, including developing work schedules and overseeing admissions.
They must have a Michigan RN license, 1-3 years of psychiatric experience, and supervisory experience preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
Key duties include utilizing the nursing process, monitoring care via chart audits, providing staff supervision and discipline, participating in program development, and serving as a preceptor for new staff.
Availability is for day shifts on weekends and one additional weekday from 7am-7pm. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with benefits such as 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.
