Job Description

This Nurse Leadership role oversees our Pediatric Cardiac Operating Room, coordinating and directing patient care in a high-volume setting performing approximately 360 cardiac procedures annually.

It involves mentoring staff, managing resources, ensuring evidence-based and quality care, and participating in policy development, staffing, and budgeting. The position emphasizes transformational leadership aligned with Magnet principles, continuous improvement using LEAN methodology, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualified candidates should have a master’s degree preferred, at least five years of clinical experience including pediatrics, management background, RN licensure in Delaware, and preferably CVOR certification. Current BLS certification is required. The role is full-time, offering comprehensive benefits, and requires in-person work at the Wilmington, DE location.
