Job Description

Seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California for a 1099 contractor role at a residential eating disorder treatment center in Monterey.

  • Provide in-person medical assessments, follow-ups, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Manage labs, medications, and address medical issues while supporting clients’ overall care
  • Participate in treatment planning, medical rounds, and emergency consultations
  • Travel twice monthly to Monterey and Santa Barbara locations; ensure proper documentation
  • Requirements include active CA medical license, DEA registration, liability insurance, and preferably experience with mental health or eating disorders

    • Compensation includes per-visit fees, a monthly administrative stipend, and part-time hours (5-10/week).
