Job Description

The Lead Physician in Rural Primary Care Services oversees high-quality, accessible healthcare at rural clinics, ensuring clinical guidelines, risk management, and provider supervision.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, backing up nurse practitioners and PAs, supervising clinical staff, conducting evaluations, and leading quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications require an MD or DO with California licensure, board certification, and experience in primary care; management and NCQA PCMH familiarity are preferred.
