- Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families to identify strengths and challenges related to their diagnosis, treatment, or life circumstances.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, or family therapies.
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
- Participate in team conferences, collaborate with other professionals, and coordinate with community resources.
- Maintain detailed case records, document assessments, interventions, and interactions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with standards.
- Offer education to patients and families about adaptation and coping strategies.
- Provide consultative support to healthcare team members within scope of practice.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and licensure such as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa. Some travel may be required. The role is in-person and involves working within established guidelines and maintaining accurate records.
