The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive primary care services in a community health setting under the supervision of the Medical Director.

  • Must hold current NP certification and Iowa licensure, with preferred experience serving underserved populations.
  • Provides health assessments, manages acute and chronic conditions, and performs minor procedures while promoting overall health and wellness.
  • Collaborates with healthcare team members, refers complex cases, and participates in protocol development.
  • Completes documentation, engages in continuing education, and participates in quality improvement efforts.


    • Physical requirements include visual/hearing ability, mobility, and the capacity to handle patients and stress. The work environment involves minimal to moderate noise and potential exposure to health hazards. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
