*Anesthesiologist*

We are currently seeking an Anesthesiologist to join our team at William Beaumont Army Medical Center.

*Job Description:*

As an Anesthesiologist, you may be required to:

* Provide routine and emergent anesthesia care for neonatal through geriatric patients.
* Perform routine preoperative evaluations on patients.
* Provide contemporary regional and general anesthesia care.
* Oversee the administration of anesthesia by nurse anesthetists.
* Administer appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic nerve blocks in treatment of acute and chronic pain.
* Oversee the activities of the recovery room and administer appropriate drug and respiratory therapy in the recovery room setting..
* Perform administrative duties as required to include completion of all required reports, records, and quality assurance reviews.
* Participate in designated Anesthesia Service training activities

*Qualifications:*

* Active and Unrestricted License to perform Anesthesiology in The United States.
* Must be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology
* Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited graduate school of medicine
* Active DEA Registration, ACLS & BLS
* Possess a minimum of one year of experience actively practicing as a full-time Board Eligible or Board-Certified Physician certified by the American board of Anesthesiology during the last year.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

* Experience as a civilian contractor for a Government Facility
