Job Description

*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Independent Social Worker to join our brand new agency. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive behavioral health services, including trauma-informed clinical services, coordinate care with clients and families, conduct required assessments, and contribute to treatment planning for clients. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children, adolescents, and their families by delivering expert social work services within a supportive environment.

*Responsibilities*

* Provide individual, group and family therapy, as approved by scope of practice
* Conduct clinical assessments
* Contribute to CANS assessments and ongoing reassessments
* Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s circumstances
* Document all clinical services according to Department of Medicaid (ODM), CARF, Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), Department of Children and Youth (DCY), OhioRISE, and other agency standards
* Coordinate services with placing and referral agencies
* Participate in treatment team meetings and QRTP CFT Meetings
* Support discharge planning for reunification, foster care transition, adoption, or independent living
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EHR/Records
* Ensure documentation meets ODM, CARF, DBH, DCY, Title IV-E and insurance standards
* Maintain licensure requirements and continuing education
* Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and de-escalation support
* Participate in on-call rotation, as assigned
* Provide consultation to direct care staff regarding behavior plans and clinical recommendations
* Support trauma-informed culture and participate in staff training
* Assist with audits, reviews, and compliance checks as requested
* Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards

*Requirements*

* Master’s Degree and valid licensure as an Independent Social Worker (LISW or equivalent).
* Problem solving skills – identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner by gathering, analyzing and utilizing information skillfully.
* Interpersonal skills – maintains confidentiality, remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits a willingness to try new approaches.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
* Ability to exercise good judgement and manage communications.
* Planning/organizing – priorities and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
* Adaptability – adopts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
* Dependability – consistency at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
* Experience and competency in using evidence-based interventions and clinical techniques, specifical CBT and DBT interventions.
* Collaborative team player.
* Computer literacy.
* Creative, enthusiastic and flexible.
* Experience with adolescents, trauma and/or residential treatment is preferred.
* 8-10 years of LISW work preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
