Job Description
*Tiffany Pediatrics DBA Liberty Doctors LLC* is looking to hire an experienced *Full time Nurse Practitioner *to work in a pediatric medical practice in the Aiken, SC area. *Responsibilities*:
1. Assist physician in evaluation and management of pediatric primary care patients
2. Develops a care plan for patients with oversite of the supervising physician
3. Works with office staff to arrange for follow up care and outside referral and consulting services as needed for the patient’s care
4. The patient care services will be provided promptly, efficiently, and in strict accordance with the ethical and professional standards for the provision of health care services adopted by the practice.
*Qualifications:*
*Education: *B.S. Degree is required. Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant program accredited by an appropriate agency recognized by the South Carolina State Board.
*Experience* with patients aged newborn to 20 years old. Experience with sick and well child visits. Two plus years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
*Licensure/Certification:*
Must be licensed and/or certified by appropriate agencies as required by S.C. state law.
Must maintain license, prescriptive authority, and certification requirements to practice in the state of South Carolina.
*Knowledge/Skills:*
Knowledgeable in basic patient care, evaluate patient care.
Knowledgeable with common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
Applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques necessary to provide on-going patient care.
Identify problems and recommend solution; prepare and maintain records.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and referral/consulting specialist providers.
Ability to analyze situation, apply critical thinking, communicate clearly, and react calmly and effectively to emergency situations.
*Expectations*:
Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations.
Conduct health assessment of patients with acute and chronic health problems.
Record subjective and objective data, assessment, and plan of care in progress notes.
Will order diagnostic tests and consultations as needed, based on the diagnosis and/or differential
Evaluate patient’s responses to diseases processes and therapeutic interventions to determine
the effectiveness of care and modify accordingly.
Provide patient and family support and education
Develop individualized treatment plans with appropriate discharge and follow up care for inpatient and outpatient populations.
Provide outpatient support for services during clinic as well as via phone consultations.
All other treatments as deemed necessary by the supervising physician.

Salary: $100,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year

* Walk-ins 7:30am to 8:30am
* Closed for lunch 12:30pm to 1:30pm
Saturday 9:00am to 12:00pm
* Walk-in Sick Visits only on Saturdays
