Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

MelioREM is looking to hire an Nurse Practitioner. For this position the provider will be responsible for initial evaluation as well as the management and follow-up care for patients with sleep disorders. This can be a full-time or part-time position. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

· Patient evaluation and development of treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.

· Order, perform, and analyze diagnostic and therapeutic test results.

· Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment.

· Collaborate with other providers in and outside of the practice.

· Interact with staff when needed to provide quality patient care.

· Provide after or in-between visit care to patients via phone calls, portal messages etc.

· Education of the patient, patient’s family, clinical staff, and others.

· Appropriate and timely documentation of clinical care.

· Continually learning and development.

· Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care such as protocol development, care process model development, and best practice standards.

· Conduct peer-to-peer review with the insurance companies and other third parties, to relay medical information to obtain certification for sleep study and pharmacological treatments.

Requirements:

· Current state license as Nurse Practitioner.

· Certification as a Nurse Practitioner .

· Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.

· Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.

· BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
