Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, providing specialized lactation education, and serving as a resource for staff and patients.
The nurse will participate in staff training, ensure current practice competency, maintain equipment, and contribute to policy development related to lactation care.
Qualifications include an Associate’s degree in nursing, RN licensure in North Carolina, BCLS certification, and IBCLC certification within 6 months. Preferably, candidates will have 3+ years of healthcare experience and a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
This is a per diem, onsite position with variable hours, focused on supporting lactation care in a hospital setting.
