The Clinical Nurse provides competent, patient-centered care in a hospital setting, adhering to professional standards and utilizing the nursing process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in patient and family education, assessing learning needs, and promoting understanding.
  • Evaluating care plans, communicating with interdisciplinary teams, and adjusting care as needed.
  • Managing complex patient cases, performing bedside testing, and prioritizing care based on patient needs.
  • Supporting professional growth, participating in quality improvement, and promoting a safe environment.
  • Conducting thorough patient assessments, anticipating discharge needs, and fostering family advocacy.
  • Collaborating on care planning, considering cultural factors, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Engaging with research to enhance practice.

  • Qualifications include a nursing degree, North Carolina RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience. This full-time, onsite night shift role offers an opportunity to impact community health through compassionate, innovative care.
