This outpatient position involves day shifts with call responsibilities, including 7 days of call with one weekend in rotation. The role focuses on treating adult patients with solid tumor diagnoses, performing 10-15 cases per day, supported by a team of physicians, APPs, and nursing staff.
The facility offers comprehensive oncology and hematology services, with radiation oncologists available during coverage, and maintains a trauma level 3 designation. Call duties include hospital rounding only for inpatient chemotherapy.
Qualifications include board certification and prescriptive authority. The schedule includes approximately 20% hematology and 80% oncology cases.
