Seeking a Board-Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist for a locum position in Massachusetts. The role involves inpatient care at a hospital in Springfield, with a schedule of Friday 4PM to the following Friday 4PM, including call coverage at a 1:4 ratio. Responsibilities include floor, ED, ICU, emergent consults, endoscopies, and potential outpatient duties. Procedures required include esophageal dilatation, biopsies, colonoscopy, liver biopsy, and therapeutic endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, variceal banding, and PEG placement. The position starts mid-December 2025, with credentialing prior. Candidates must hold an active MA license, be board-certified or eligible, and BLS certified.
