About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Peds – Critical Care PA in New York!

Our client in New York is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Cardiology Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment starting Jun 8, 2026. This role involves 12-hour shifts, focusing on comprehensive inpatient care within a pediatric cardiac intensive care unit, including daily rounding with physicians and managing an average of 5-9 cases per day.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient care within the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians during daily rounds on day shifts.
  • Manage an average of 5-9 cases per day.
  • Perform and manage advanced procedures including intubation and ventilation, and central and arterial line placement.
  • Initiate and manage ECMO.
  • Provide hemodynamic support to critically ill patients.
  • Oversee post-operative management of pediatric cardiac patients.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
  • EMR System: Epic.
  • Schedule: 12-hour in-house shifts, 8a-8p.
