Job Description

Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a Lactation Consultant role in Hilo, HI.

Provide evidence-based breastfeeding education, counseling, and support to mothers, babies, and families prenatally, in hospital, postpartum, and via telemedicine.

Develop and teach breastfeeding classes for healthcare providers, families, and the community.

Offer a weekday schedule with 38 days of paid time off annually.

Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 per year, with medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.

Requirements include lactation certification and experience.

Enjoy work and outdoor recreation on the Big Island in a family-friendly community of 45,000.
