Locum position for a Board-Certified General Surgeon in Baker City, OR, offering a 2-week contract with flexible scheduling and no call or weekend duties. The role involves scheduled OR and clinic work, including significant endoscopy procedures, as part of re-establishing a community surgical program at a critical access hospital. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a commitment of at least two full weeks per month over a 13-week assignment. Responsibilities include performing general surgeries, managing outpatient visits, and collaborating with hospital staff. Candidates should have strong experience in upper and lower endoscopy, be comfortable practicing independently, and support program development.
