Seeking a qualified Physician Assistant for Cardiothoracic Surgery in Reading, PA. This locum tenens role involves inpatient coverage with a schedule of Mon-Fri, 6:30 am-3 pm, plus 24-hour weekend call. Responsibilities include assisting with surgeries such as CABG, TAVR, ECMO, and vascular procedures, performing vessel harvesting, helping with patient positioning, and supporting preoperative and intraoperative care. Requirements include active PA license, BC/BE, BLS, and expertise in vessel and arterial/vein harvesting. EMR system is Cerner. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered. The position offers competitive weekly pay, ongoing coverage, and supportive staff. Ideal candidates are independent, experienced in endoscopic and vessel harvesting, with quick call response times.
